Volunteer Inspiration - sharing experience

Come meet Tokyo-based non-profits and volunteers and talk about your cause. If you don't have a cause and are simply interested in volunteering, please come and you may find something to your liking.

http://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/5/a/2/0/event_200243072.jpegIn our second meetup, we'll see a presentation about a project called "COPE(Community Organized Primary Education"" in rural villages in Afghanistan implemented by a Japanese non-profit organization. Since March 2011, the project have managed 50 village based schools and libraries where 1500 kids (70 % are girls) and community people can learn and improve their capacity.

The presentation will be followed by an open discussion over some snacks (please bring light snacks for yourself and to share).
