🔹 Itinerary

Day 0 (Sep 11, Thu evening):
• Depart Tokyo by car, drive to Torikura Trailhead (鳥倉登山口).
• Overnight in car / rest before the hike.

Day 1 (Sep 12, Fri):
• Hike to Sanpuku-toge (三伏峠), pitch tent.
• Day hike to Mount Shiomi (塩見岳, 3,052 m) and return to camp.

Day 2 (Sep 13, Sat):
• Traverse ridge: Mount Eboshi (烏帽子岳) → Mount Ogawachi (小河内岳) → Mount Itaya (板屋岳).
• Camp at Arakawa Hut (荒川小屋).

Day 3 (Sep 14, Sun):
• Climb Mount Warusawa (悪沢岳, 3,141 m) and other Arakawa peaks (荒川三山).
• Continue to Mount Akaishi (赤石岳, 3,120 m).
• Camp near Akaishi Hut (赤石小屋) or safe ridge campsite.

Day 4 (Sep 15, Mon):
• Descend from Akaishi Hut (赤石小屋) back to Torikura Trailhead (鳥倉登山口).
• Pick up car and return to Tokyo by evening.

• Difficulty: Advanced – 4 days, 8–10h trekking per day, heavy packs, high-altitude terrain.
• Accommodation: Tent (carry own gear, food, stove).
• Water points: Sanpuku-toge (三伏峠), Arakawa Hut (荒川小屋), Akaishi Hut (赤石小屋).
• Group size: Small team (for safety & campsite space).

• Multi-day alpine hiking experience
• Tent + full gear for self-sufficient camping
• Good fitness for long ridge traverses with heavy pack
• Map app (YAMAP / Garmin) + paper topo recommended

Cost:

Car, gas and toll - ¥7000-¥8000/ person approx

Tent space - ¥4000~¥5000/ person
