Hiking Mount Keikan (鶏冠山) - Okutama area - Moderate 12kms Elevation 651 mtrs

Planning a spontaneous hike this Saturday to Mount Keikan (鶏冠山) in Yamanashi, one of the Yamanashi Hyakumeizan. Nice forest trail with ridge views and a short rocky section near the summit.

• Start: Yanagisawa Pass Parking (柳沢峠駐車場)
• Distance: ~10 km
• Difficulty: Easy–Moderate
• Highlights: Forest ridge, viewpoint near Kurokawa-yama, short rocky climb before summit, Keikan Shrine at the top.
