Coffee walk in Kiyosumi Shirakawa
詳細
Let’s explore and chill around Kiyosumi Shirakawa, known as an emerging “coffee town” of Tokyo. Abandoned factories and workshops are now turning into cozy cafes, fashionable galleries or craft beer bars, attracting many visitors on weekends. We can also enjoy a nice view along the Sumida riverside walk and experience the lovely Japanese Garden “Kiyosumi Teien”.
We will visit two very popular cafes, iki Roastery and Eatery, and the famous Blue Bottle Coffee flagship cafe. In the mean time, we will take a brief walk along the Sumida River and visit the Kiyosumi Garden.
We just have the above rough plan for now since the two cafes must be very busy and we can’t guarantee that our group can get a table. We will be flexible so if we come across another nice cafe or bar, we can also try.
The cafes have various drink options, so please feel free to join us even if you don’t usually drink coffee.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Note:
Please pay for your own drinks and food.
Most cafes accept credit cards but it’s better to bring some cash just in case.
