Travel Writing the National Geographic Way!

Learn the basics of travel writing as summarized from Matadoru, the largest trainer of journalists and photographers for National Geographic magazine. In this session you will learn the basics of story forms, original voice, effective narration, using multi-media to enhance your writing, a publication mindset and capturing an online audience. Please bring three photos of a recent vacation or trip that you would like to write about. Participants will develop a short travel piece during the session and get feedback from peers.

PT2/ Travel Blogging and Seeing the world - Dream Job and how to Make it a reality 1:30-4:00
