I organize two long walks every month, and once a month, I’d love to have some company!
Details for This Walk
• Route: Starting at Yokohama Station, walking to Futako-Tamagawa Station via Tamagawa Station.
(Approx. 20.2km, Google Maps says 4h 44m, but with breaks and a relaxed pace, we’ll complete it within 8 hours!)
• Meeting Time: 9:00 AM sharp
• Meeting Point: FamilyMart Yokohama Station East Exit
(If you’re not there by 9:15, we’ll start without you.)
• End Point: Futako-Tamagawa Station (disperse freely after arrival).
What to Expect?
• The walk will take us through urban streets and end with a relaxing stroll along the Tama River.
• Note: Not every part of the route will be exciting—some stretches might just be roads, or even a bit dull—but the sense of achievement at the end is worth it!
What You Need to Know
- Be Prepared:
• Bring water, snacks, and comfortable walking shoes.
• Light rain? We’ll still go—carry a portable raincoat.
• Bad weather? I’ll cancel and inform you in advance. - Group Size: Max 3 participants (4 people total including me)—small groups are less awkward and more fun!
- Safety:
• Follow traffic rules. I won’t continue with anyone who breaks them (e.g., crossing at red lights).
• Participants join at their own risk—please judge your physical fitness before signing up (18+ only). I as the organizer, will NOT be responsible for any of the safety risks and issues. - Free Event: But please cover your own drinks/food costs.
Breaks & Rest Stops
- I personally walk without stopping, but since we have 8 hours, feel free to suggest breaks or stop by a convenience store if needed.
