Kamakura Creative Writing Meetup is a relaxed and supportive space for anyone who enjoys writing and exploring ideas. This meetup takes place every other Saturday morning and is about creating time and space to write, think, and gently exchange ideas with others in a calm and friendly atmosphere.

We welcome all kinds of writing, including books, short stories, personal reflections, blogs, screenwriting, travel experiences, philosophy, and moments from daily life. Each session offers a balance of quiet writing time and light conversation. You are free to focus on your own work, talk through ideas or structure, share thoughts if you wish, or simply listen and get inspired.

There is no teaching, no pressure, and no expectation to share your work. Some people prefer to write silently, while others enjoy discussing characters, scenes, concepts, or personal experiences. Both are equally welcome.

This meetup is open to all levels. You do not need to be a professional writer. Curiosity, imagination, and a love for expressing ideas matter more than perfection.
