Hike to Hodo-san to see Winter-sweets(宝登山へ蝋梅を見に行こう)

Mt. Hodosan is located in Nagatoro, within the Chichibu area. Near the summit, approximately 3,000 wintersweet trees bloom at this time of year, filling the air with their sweet fragrance and showcasing their elegant yellow flowers.

Nogami Station → Mt. Hodosan → Hodosan Shrine → Nagatoro Station

● Normal mountain outfits and gear are sufficient (no special equipment required). However, we recommend wearing hiking boots to protect your feet.
● Please bring your own lunch, as there are no shops or restaurants along the way.
● Meeting point: By the ticket gate at Nogami Station (野上駅) at 9:19 AM.
● In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to the following day, Sunday, January 25.
● Our hiking is smoke-free.
● Participation fee: 500 yen
● Hiking level: Easy to intermediate.
