Sketch Walk to Higashiyama✏️

Join us for a peaceful sketch walk starting at Chion-in Temple, moving through its spacious grounds and into the forested paths of Higashiyama Park. Along the way, we’ll draw a variety of scenes—temples, people, cemeteries, flowers, gardens, lush plants, and a panoramic view over Kyoto.

Flow:

• Meet at the Chion-in Shimmon (New Gate)
• Sketch around the temple grounds
• Walk into the woods, sketching along the way
• Break at the top viewpoint for rest + drawing
• Finish at Maruyama Park with a final sketch

What to bring:
Sketching materials, lunch, snacks, water, and comfortable shoes
