Online Osaka Dialect: Learn & Talk 🙌

Curious about Osaka-ben but not sure how to use it in real life? 😄

This is a fun and casual online hangout—more like a chat with friends than a stiff classroom. Learn the "soul language" of Kansai and practice it immediately!

  1. Who should join?
    • Anyone interested in Osaka dialect/Kansai-ben.
    • People who want to enjoy a relaxed conversation in Japanese or English.
    • All Japanese levels are welcome! (Explanations will be provided in English as needed).

  2. Community Rules (No Harassment)
    To keep this a safe and comfortable space, the following are strictly prohibited:
    • Slander, harassment, or offensive behavior.
    • Advertising, religious/political proselytizing, or unauthorized recruitment.
    • Please be mindful of others—if someone is quiet, try to include them in the conversation!

  3. Schedule (40 Minutes Total)
    We use Zoom for this session. It’s a quick and focused 40-minute blast!
    ① 5:55 PM (JST): Enter the Zoom waiting room.
    ② 6:00 PM – 6:20 PM (20 min): Osaka-ben Mini-Lesson 🟢
    • Useful phrases used by locals every day.
    • Differences from "Standard" Japanese (Hyojungo).
    • Tips on the rhythm and "vibe" of Osaka-ben.
    ③ 6:20 PM – 6:40 PM (20 min): Casual Talk & Practice 🟢
    • Practice the phrases you just learned!
    • Free conversation in English and Japanese.
    ④ 7:40 PM: End of session / Casual sign-off.

  4. Other Notes
    • Camera ON: Please keep your video on. It helps create a friendly and trusting environment!
    • Etiquette: Please avoid "speech-making" or interrogation-style questioning. Let’s keep the flow natural.
    • Volunteer-run: This is a volunteer-based event. We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding any minor technical hiccups!

「大阪弁に興味はあるけれど、実際の使い方がわからない…」そんなことはありませんか？ 😄
このイベントは、堅苦しい「授業」ではなく、友達同士の「集まり」のようなカジュアルな雰囲気で進めます。関西の「ソウル言語」を学んで、その場ですぐに練習してみましょう！

  1. 対象者
    • 大阪弁や関西弁に興味がある方
    • 日本語や英語でリラックスして雑談を楽しみたい方
    • 日本語レベルは問いません！（必要に応じて英語で解説します）
  2. コミュニティ・ルール（迷惑行為の禁止）
    安心・安全で心地よい場を守るため、以下の行為は固くお断りします：
    • 誹謗中傷、ハラスメント、不快な言動
    • 各種宣伝、宗教・政治への勧誘、引き抜き行為
    • 周りへの気配りをお願いします。あまり話せていない人がいたら、ぜひ話を振ってあげてください！
  3. 当日のスケジュール（計40分間）
    Zoomを使用します。40分間でサクッと、中身の濃い時間を過ごしましょう！
    ① 午後5:55 (JST): Zoomの待機室にお入りください。
    ② 午後6:00 – 6:20 (20分): 大阪弁ミニレッスン 🟢
    • 地元の人が毎日使う便利なフレーズ
    • 標準語（共通語）との違い
    • 大阪弁特有のリズムや「ニュアンス」のコツ
    ③ 午後6:20 – 6:40 (20分): カジュアルトーク＆実践 🟢
    • 習ったばかりのフレーズを使ってみよう！
    • 英語と日本語を交えた自由な雑談タイム
    ④ 午後6:40: 終了・解散
  4. その他・お願い
    • カメラは「オン」で: 安心感のあるフレンドリーな環境作りのため、ビデオをオンにしてご参加ください。
    • マナーについて: 一方的な演説や、取り調べのような質問攻めは避け、自然な会話のキャッチボールを楽しみましょう。
    • ボランティア運営: 本イベントはボランティアで運営されています。多少の不手際や技術的なトラブルについては、ご理解とご協力をお願いいたします。
