Experience one of Kyoto’s most mystical autumn festivals at the historic Seimei Shrine, dedicated to the legendary onmyoji Abe no Seimei. 🌙✨
During the festival, you’ll see Mikoshi Procession that parades through the local neighborhood.

While enjoying the festival atmosphere, we’ll also chat casually, do a little language exchange, and share stories about Japanese culture together 😊
💡 Extra Plan after the Festival
If you’re interested, there’s a very traditional Japanese public bath called Funaoka Onsen near Seimei Shrine. Let’s go together after the festival! ♨️✨

• Entrance fee 430 yen

📍 Meeting Point
We’ll meet in front of FamilyMart near Imadegawa Station (subway Karasuma Line).
If you think you’ll be late, please let me know. Unfortunately, we can only wait up to 10 minutes, so please try to be on time.
From Imadegawa, we’ll walk together to Seimei Shrine (about 10–15 min).

例祭 (Main Festival) – September 23
• 12:30 — Head to shrine
• 13:00 — Mikoshi Procession departs from Seimei Shrine 🚩
• 13:30 — have some food at festival food booth.
• 15:00 — Otabisho-sai Ritual at Nishijin Chuo Elementary School 🙏
Extra
• 16:00 — Head to Funaoka Onsen ♨️
• 17:00 — Finish
