Language Meetup at MOJO 1921 (near Taipei Main Station)

This free event is hosted by Language Garden 語言花園 and will be held at MOJO 1921 Café Bar 咖啡酒吧 on Wednesday night from 7:00pm-10:00pm.

Language Garden 語言花園 (A.K.A LinguaVirtua) 是由一位由語言熱愛者專為語言愛好者所創立的社群。我們不僅架設了網站、設計了App、編製了相關的課程教材，也舉辦了語言聚會。希望藉由提供這一系列的服務，迎合語言愛好者的需求，進而達到學習效益。

MOJO 1921 is taken from the first two words of the abbreviation "MOCA" of the Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei, with the meaning of "more joy"; it is also the source of charm, energy and vitality of the movie "Austin Powers", in which the protagonist Mike Myers plays the role of Austin Powers, "MOJO". The manager believes that the external conditions will change with time, but only the internal knowledge, interests, connotation and other human qualities are what make us truly attractive. Lastly, 1921 commemorates the year of the building's completion, while not forgetting the history we have experienced together.

MOJO 1921取自『台北當代藝術館』英文縮寫『MOCA』的前兩字，有諧音『more joy』的含義；同時也是店長很喜歡的電影『王牌大賤諜』，主角麥克麥爾斯飾演的奧斯汀保威魅力、精力、活力的泉源『MOJO』。店長覺得外在的條件會隨著時間而改變，但只有內在的知識、興趣、涵養等人文素養，才是構成我們真正的魅力所在。最後1921是紀念這棟建物的落成年份，同時也不忘我們共同經歷過的歷史。

We hope that "MOJO 1921 Café Bar" can be a place for the public to exchange knowledge, information, and experiences, which would help us enhance our wisdom, interests, and temperament, as well as give us "More Joy".

MOJO 1921不僅座落在古蹟內，同時也是台灣較少見的『當代藝術』場館，因此誠如MOJO所代表的意涵，希望『MOJO 1921咖啡啤酒吧』能成為大眾交流各種知識、資訊、所見所聞的場域，大家不僅充實了內在的知識、興趣、涵養，也能因為這些獲得而『More Joy』。
