<For whom?>
Are you fed up with always training long-distance alone?
Preparing for your first marathon, and would like to add more miles into your legs, but at a comfortable (not too fast) pace?
You are visiting Kyoto, and interested in running with some locals during your stay?
......then, perhaps this group is for you!!
The group was created Sep 2017, inspired by the experience of running with "Let's Run Paris!" - an international running group based in Paris. We hope to become as lively and as well-organised as our big sister one day ;)

<Our group>
"Let's Run Kyoto!" is a small running group, and we organise 10k+ runs on Saturday or Sunday morning (the schedule and route/distance will be posted approx. 1 week in advance). There are normally 2-3 runs every month. Also, some runs could be scheduled on a weekday.
<Basics>
1) This group has really just started, so initially the course will not have a lot of variations (*) - it will be a combination of Kyoto Gosho (Imperial Palace) and Kamogawa.
2) We are still a small group, so we cannot have multiple pace groups yet (**) . We intend to run at the pace of around 6 mins/ km. (we will chat before the run, and if everyone is comfortable to run at a slower/faster pace, we'll adjust it)
3) There is no obligation to run the full route. You can drop off early, as long as you let at least one of us know that you're leaving. Otherwise we'd think that you might have gotten lost..!
4) There is no membership fee, and there is no formal registration. All you need to do is to join our Meetup page and choose "Going" for one of our runs.
* We are intending to add different courses to go to other parts of Kyoto, as we gain more experience of group runs. Any route suggestions are very welcome, and we will try to incorporate these suggestions into our route after some test runs!
** When the group grows and the number of participating runners increases, we hope to have multiple pace groups.
Hope to see you very soon!!
