Mark House hosts opportunities to meet and speak Japanese with local Japanese people!!

We are an international couple from Australia（Aussie husband Craig and Japanese wife Masako) are renting a small cafe in Otaku, Tokyo, to organize a language exchange cafe, for English speakers learning Japanese and Japanese speakers learning English.

日本語を勉強しているオーストラリア人の夫（クレイグ）と日本人の妻（まさこ）の国際結婚カップルが、東京都大田区のカフェを間借りして、日本語を勉強している英語話者と英語を勉強している日本語話者のランゲージエクスチェンジカフェを運営しています。

Mark House aims to create “The third place to be”, outside school/work and home in Japan, for foreign residents and Japanese youth and adults.

マークハウスは、「若者応援＆おとな基地」として、学校や職場、家庭以外の「インターナショナルな第三の居場所づくり」を目指しています。

We welcome English speaking foreign residents, exchange students, international travelers learning Japanese.

日本語を勉強している英語話者の在留外国人だけでなく、交換留学生、旅行者の方たちも参加しています。

• Aussie Coffee served by trainees is available for purchase, but you can bring your own food and nonalcoholic beverages.

Direction/行き方:Turn left at German Street and turn right at Sanno Elementary School.　Go straight until you find Shimada Bakery, and we are just two doors up.

ジャーマン通りを左に曲がり、山王小学校を右に曲がってください。
まっすぐ行くと、右手に島田ベーカリーがあります。カフェは、その２軒先です。

• We are renting a small cafe with the limited seats. If you are canceling your participation, please make sure that you press "Not going" so that others in the waiting list can have opportunities.

席に限りがある小さなカフェを間借りしています。もし、キャンセルする場合は、必ず「不参加」を押してキャンセルしてください。Waiting List のメンバーたちが参加することができます。

• We really appreciate it if you could book your seat only when you intend to come on that day. There are some people who repeatedly book and cancel, book well ahead of time and cancel on the previous day or on the event day, or not even showing up without canceling it. We will not book your seat if you have done that more than three times.

ご予約の際は、実際に参加予定の時のみご予約ください。席取りだけをして、予約とキャンセルを繰り返したり、事前に予約して、前日や当日にキャンセルする行為はご遠慮下さいね！

Waiting List の方々が参加する機会を失ったり、日本語話者と英語話者のバランスが悪くなるなど、メンバー全体にご迷惑をおかけしてしまいます。（汗）３回以上このような行為をされた方は今後、予約ができなくなりますので、ご理解いただけると幸いです。
