Meet the Nature Detectives | 自然史フェスで発見しよう

ENGLISH
What can a feather, a fossil or a neighbourhood wildlife group teach us? MeetIN will explore Osaka Natural History Festival 2026, where more than 100 groups and individuals bring nature research, specimens and activities together. We will focus on open booths and displays, with time to compare discoveries. Talks and workshops have their own capacity rules and are optional; no session has been reserved. No specialist knowledge is needed.

10:00 — Meet Hardik outside Osaka Museum of Natural History.
10:10 — Brief context, then explore booths in small clusters.
11:00 — Regroup at the exterior entrance porch, clear of queues.
11:15 — Continue with a second round of discoveries and a rest.
12:00 — Finish; further exploration is optional.
MEETING POINT
Outside the museum main entrance in Nagai Park, clear of queues; meet before entering.
WALKING AND WEATHER
Allow 1–2 km with standing and busy indoor areas. Our core plan covers museum/festival spaces, not entry into the adjacent botanical garden. Rain affects the park approach; severe conditions or official cancellation may cancel the outing.
Solo and first-time participants are welcome. English and Japanese are welcome; venue explanations may be in Japanese. Explore in small clusters and keep entrances and paths clear. Late arrivals should message Hardik through Meetup before trying to join the moving group; tell the host before leaving early. Bring comfortable shoes, water and a seasonal layer. Toilets, seating and a fully step-free route require a final check; contact the host beforehand about mobility needs. Take breaks as needed. Check this page before departure for changes. Follow staff and photography signs, ask before photographing people, and respect personal boundaries. This is an independent community outing, separate from the external organizer.

羽根や化石、地域の自然を調べる人たちから、何が見つかるでしょうか。100以上の団体・個人が集まる「大阪自然史フェスティバル2026」を巡ります。自由に見られるブースと展示を中心に、発見を分かち合いましょう。講演や体験は個別の定員に従う任意の追加企画で、予約していません。専門知識は不要です。

10:00 — 大阪市立自然史博物館の正面入口外でHardikと集合。
10:10 — 簡単に紹介し、少人数でブース見学。
11:00 — 入口外のポーチで再集合。
11:15 — 休憩を挟み、気になった展示へ。
12:00 — 主な集まりを終了。その後の見学は任意。
集合場所
長居公園内・大阪市立自然史博物館の正面入口外。列を避け、入館前に集合。
歩行と天候
約1〜2kmの歩行と立ち時間、屋内の混雑を想定します。基本の計画は博物館とフェス会場で、隣接する植物園への入園は含みません。公園内の移動は屋外です。荒天や公式中止時は、この集まりも中止の場合があります。
一人参加・初参加も歓迎。日本語でも英語でも大丈夫ですが、施設の説明は日本語の場合があります。少人数で見て回り、入口と通路をふさがないでください。遅れる方は合流前にMeetupでHardikへ連絡し、早めに帰る場合もひと声かけてください。歩きやすい靴、飲み物、羽織るものをご用意ください。トイレ、座席、全ルートの段差のない通行は最終確認が必要です。移動の配慮が必要な方は事前にご相談ください。必要に応じて休み、出発前にこのページで変更をご確認ください。現場と撮影のルールを守り、人を撮る前には確認を。お互いの距離感を大切に。外部の主催者とは別に、私たちが自主的に集まる交流です。
