＊〜It's too early for the hydrangea season. You don't like crowded places. The hot and humid rainy season makes you feel depressed. So... this is a must-see for people like you╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

If you start from “Kenchoji Temple”on the Tenen Hiking Course known as the Kamakura Alps, you'll get tired from the first uphill staircase😮‍💨…so try starting from the opposite side 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻🚶‍♂️
☝️First, stop by “Kamakuragu Shrine”, which is just in front of the bus stop, then climb the hill to “Kakuonji Temple”.
It's in a secluded area so not many people know about it, but the main hall (Yakushido) is a spectacular sight with its old-fashioned building and scenery that will make you stop and think, "Wow…there was a place like this here! 😳…
You can see the Yakushi Nyorai statue, the Twelve Heavenly Generals statue, and the black-colored Kuro Jizo Bodhisattva statue etc.
✌️Then, head to the Tenen Hiking Course.Many people use this course as a short course that goes through Juou-iwa🪨”Kenchoji Temple”and Hanso-bo where you can get a panoramic view of Kamakura without passing through Ohirayama and Tenen. There is a 108-yagura tower along the way and it's a course where you can feel the history of Kamakura.
🤟And visit “Kenchoji Temple”which has a very large temple grounds.
At Hansobo located at the very back of the Temple where the entire valley is within its grounds, there are many Tengu 👺 lined up and the view from the sky is outstanding.
This is a temple where zazen is practiced,
and if you wish, you can try Zazen from 15:30 to 16:30.
It is held free of charge for beginners only on Fridays and Saturdays.
🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏽Zazen is a meditation method used to calm the body and mind, and it is said that if you make it a habit it will improve your everyday concentration😌so why not give it a try once?

鎌倉アルプスと呼ばれる天園ハイキングコースは、建長寺から入ると最初の上り階段で疲れてしまうので反対側から入ってみましょう🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️
まずは、バス停の目の前にある「鎌倉宮」に寄り、そして坂を登って「覚園寺」へ。
奥まった場所にあるので知る人も少ないのですが、本堂(薬師堂)は、こんな場所があったんだ😳と佇んでしまうほど昔のままの建物と景観で圧巻です‼️
本尊の薬師如来像や十二神将像、黒い色の黒地蔵菩薩像等が拝見できます。
そして、天園ハイキングコースへ。
大平山や天園を通らず、鎌倉を一望出来る十王岩や建長寺・半僧坊に抜けるショートコースとして利用する人が多くなっています。途中には百八やぐらがあり鎌倉の歴史を感じられるコースです。
そして、とても広い境内の建長寺を見学。
谷全体が境内になっている建長寺の最奥にある半僧坊には、天狗が多く並んでいて天空からの眺めも抜群です。
ここは、坐禅を修行とするお寺で、
もし、ご希望される方だけ15:30〜16:30までの坐禅体験をしてみましょう。毎週金曜と土曜日だけ初心者用に無料で行っています。
🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏽この坐禅は、身体と心を落ち着かせるために行う瞑想法で、習慣にすると普段の集中力が高まるとされていますので一度、体験するのもいかがでしょうか。
