⚔️Let's embark on a journey
through Kamakura's history!🥷

This main spot is Sasuke Inari Shrine⛩️
It's also known as "Shrine of get promotion”as it's said that Japan's first shogun”Minamoto no Yoritomo”, came here from Izu and established the shogunate in Kamakura⚔️.
It's a hidden spot.
Climbing the vermilion torii gate stairs, you will come across rows of white fox figurines, creating a mystical atmosphere that will make you want to take lots of photos📸

Let’s get away from the bustling station area and visit the “Kamakura museum of History and Culture”.
This building designed by the firm of world-renowned architect Norman Foster, is a mysterious place, surrounded by mountains and greenery, yet incorporating the latest digital technology such as projection mapping and VR, including a tower.
After that we'll visit Sasuke Inari Shrine and the tranquil Jufuku-ji Temple, founded by Hojo Masako wife of Minamoto no Yoritomo. From there, we continue further in to the quiet Kaizoji Temple. Known as the Temple of Flowers and the Temple of Water, it is home to flowers such as flowering crab apple and bush clover and a pond with beautiful of clear water. We then walk along Kamegayatsu Kiridoshi, a slope artificially carved into the mountain, towards Kita-Kamakura. This slope is so long that it is said that a turtle fell over and was unable to get up🐢😵.
For lunch, we head to a soba/udon restaurant in Kita-Kamakura.
Finally, relax at Chojuji Temple, which has a beautiful Japanese garden, while gazing out at the garden😌

鎌倉の歴史を辿る旅に出かけよう‼️
第一弾は、佐助稲荷神社。日本で初めての将軍の源頼朝が、伊豆からここへ来てこの鎌倉の土地に幕府を開いたきっかけになったという別名「出世稲荷」。山に登るように奥深い場所を歩いて行きます。隠れた穴場です。朱色の鳥居の階段を登って行くと白狐の置物がずらりと並べられており、その神秘的な雰囲気は写真を何枚も撮りたくなる場所です。
そこで、先ずは、賑わう駅周辺から離れ「鎌倉歴史文化交流館」へ。この建物は、世界的に著名な建築家ノーマン・フォスター氏の設計事務所が手がけていてやぐらなど、周りは山と緑に囲まれているのに、中ではプロジェクションマッピングやVR等、最新デジタル技術を取り入れている不思議な場所です。その後に、「佐助稲荷神社」、静粛な場所の「寿福寺」。ここは、源頼朝の妻の北条政子によって創建されたお寺です。そこから奥へ進み静かな佇まいの「海蔵寺」。花の寺、水の寺と呼ばれていてカイドウ、萩など花々と井戸があり、池には綺麗な清水が湧いています。 そして、山を人工的に切り開いた坂の亀ヶ谷切通しを歩き北鎌倉方面へ向かいます。この坂の名前は、亀がひっくり返っても起きられなかったという伝説のように長い坂です。そして、ランチは、北鎌倉のそば、うどんのお店へ入ります。
最後は、日本庭園が素敵な長寿寺で庭を眺めながらまったりとしてください。
