Mt. Rokkokuken (147m) was historically famous for offering views of six ancient provinces of Japan. On a clear day, the Mt. Fuji stands tall over the horizon.
And Go to Sanzagaike Forest Park‼︎ After a peaceful 30-minute stroll through a quiet residential neighborhood, you can see hidden gem known.
After lunch, we can enter the Tenen Hiking Trail in just about 30 minutes from here. Even for those familiar with this trail, I am taking you to a true hidden gem that most people miss: the 'Hyakuhachi Yagura' (The 108 Caves).
What is a 'Yagura'? These are unique cave tombs carved directly into the rock cliffs during the Kamakura period, about 830 years ago. Because flat land was very limited in here, people carved into the mountainsides to create these sacred spaces.
The name 'Hyakuhachi' means 108. In Buddhism, 108 is the number of 'Bonno' — the worldly desires or illusions that cloud the human heart. This is the only place in all of Kamakura where you can find such a vast concentration of these mystical caves in one spot.

• Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
(Some steep stairs, but beginner-friendly).
• Gear: Wear comfortable sneakers or trekking shoes, lunch and drinks.

ここは北鎌倉駅から頂上までたった30分です。標高147メートルの六国見山（ろっこくけんざん）は、その名の通り、かつて六つの国（武蔵、相模、上総、下総、安房、伊豆）を見渡せたことから名付けられた歴史ある山です。空気が澄んだ日には雄大な富士山を見渡すことができます。
そして、そこから静かな住宅街を抜けながら歩いて30分で「鎌倉湖」という秘境があります。それが散在が池森林公園です。
「六国見山」と森と水の静寂した「散在が池」という対照的な鎌倉の自然を一度に楽しめます。池のほとりでは、羽を休める鳥たちの姿を眺め、心地よいさえずりを聞きながらランチタイムを楽しみましょう。
そして、ランチの後はここから「天園ハイキングコース」に約30分で入ることが出来ます。このコースを知っている人でもまず目にすることのない**鎌倉の真の秘境「百八やぐら」**をご案内します。
「やぐら」とは、約830年前の鎌倉時代に作られた珍しい『崖に彫られたお墓』です。平地が少ない鎌倉では山を削ってこのような聖なる空間を作りました。また、
「百八」という数字は、仏教において人間が持つ心の迷い（煩悩）の数と言われています。これほど多くのやぐらが集まっている場所は、鎌倉でもここだけです。

• 難易度： 初級〜中級
(一部急な階段がありますが、初心者の方でも安心して歩けます）。
・服装・持ち物：
スニーカーかトレッキングシューズ。ランチと飲み物をご持参ください。
