Take a walking tour of Kawagoe, a small castle town known as “Little Edo”! With streets, shops, and buildings that look like old Japan, you will be taken back to the Edo Period and get a nostalgic feeling.
1:00 pm - Meet at Kumano shrine (熊野神社)



Taisho-Roman Dream St. (大正浪漫夢通り)
Pedestrian street recreating the early 20th century Taisho area, with stores and street food stalls.



Warehouse District (蔵造りの町並み)
Classic Edo Period warehouses line a bustling street alongside sweets shops and restaurants.



Bell Tower (時の鐘)
A landmark and symbol of Kawagoe.



Candy Alley (菓子屋横丁)
Street with stores selling traditional Japanese sweets, snacks, and souveniers.



Hikawa Shrine (氷川神社)
Peaceful Shinto Shrine featuring a wind chime tunnel and beautiful carvings. Nearby a river lined with several cherry blossom trees.
