Sawanobori (beginner level) Nishi-Yoko kawa in central alps (西横川)

Description：西横川 is gorgeous and easily accessible sawa (overall 1級 with pitch III) There are multiple 10-meter waterfalls, the largest is about 30 meters and easily climbable. It's mainly out of the forest with some exposure but no big slab.
Interestingly, no need to hike down as we can hop on the ropeway at the end and go down the mountain fast.

It is suitable for a participants with a few seasons of sawanobori experience or outdoor climbing skills, not really possible if you struggle with grade III climbing.

Timeline:
leave from Noborito on Friday evening 19:00
eat dinner on the way and sleep at michinoeki
Start 5:30 am
approach gear up -> in the sawa around 7:30 am
Out of the water around 14:00
Back to the car around 17:00
Back to Noborito by 22:00

Technical requirements: rock climbing skills (ie you don't need a rope for III- and below) you can belay (at least one participant). Not suitable if you have neither sawa, rock climbing nor bouldering experience.
Required Gear: sawanobori shoes, neoprene socks, shin guards, helmet, harness, backpack, dry bags, ATC, 2+ slings, 2+ karabiners, headlight, rain wear, down jacket, gloves, タワシ

Better to have: trekking poles

Physical requirements: ability to hike for 10 hours with a 10 kg backpack at 3/4 of map time or faster.

Requirement for applicants I have never taken in the mountains before:
provide a description of your mountain and climbing experience of the past year which can show that you qualify for the technical and physical requirements.

Insurance: all participants have an insurance covering rock climbing activities and accept that the organizer is not responsible in case of accident. Agreement to the waiver of responsibility (to be sent individually to participants) is required.

Participation fees (including organization, guidance during the trip): 4,500 yen
Included in the price: pro-level pictures taken during the trip.

Note: transportation and insurance fees are not included in the above.
Discount: 2,000 yen discount for driver who can take all participants in their car

Cancellation policy: the event is maintained in case of light to moderate rain. For safety reasons the event can be cancelled in case of heavy rain occurring during the week before the event.

Cancellation fees: no charge if you let me know more than 2 days before the start of the event. Full charge otherwise.

Car transportation fees: split evenly between participants, if you cancel after car arrangements have been made, please pay your share of the transportation fees.

NB: no shows may be excluded from the group and barred from attending future events.
