The OpenSSF (Open Source Security Foundation) is a cross-industry organization that brings together the industry’s most important open source security initiatives and the individuals and companies that support them. The OpenSSF is committed to collaboration and working both upstream and with existing communities to advance open source security for all. Participation is open to all.
OpenSSF Meetup groups have an informal relationship with OpenSSF, and make up a key part of the OpenSSF ecosystem. Participation in a OpenSSF Meetup group is open to anyone--employees of a OpenSSF member company, OpenSSF contributors and developers, and people just passionate about opens source security.

These events, held regionally and co-located with KubeCon or Open Source Summits, offer an opportunity to engage with the brightest minds in security for a day of collaboration and innovation in software security best practices. As a home for tools, standards, and education, OpenSSF provides attendees the chance to explore these resources, share their experiences, and contribute to a safer and more secure digital world.
