【概要】
みんなで自分の写真をプリントして持ち寄って、
それを見ながらビール飲んだり、なにか食べたりしながら
写真友達を増やそう！という忘年会です。

・プリントは必ずしも持ってこなくてかまいません
・持ってきたい人は何枚持ってきてもいいです
・写真が好きじゃない人でも構いません
・プリントするのが面倒だからそっちでやってよという人はご相談ください
・自分が写っているプリントや、気に入った背景写真のプリントを見つけたら自由に持ち帰ってください

【企画の背景】
今年、2回にわたって全米で住みたい街No.1のポートランドに行ってきました。

5月のGWで訪れた際に、現地のストリートアート見学ツアーに参加したんです。そのイベントで、現地のフォトグラファーとモデルの方と出合って、それ以降もインスタで繋がったので、9月に再度ポートランドに行くことが決まった時に、そのフォトグラファーから「写真家同士のコミュニティイベントがあるから参加しないか」と誘われたんです。

そのイベントは、各自がプリントした写真を持ち寄って、ビールとピザ食べながらただしゃべるだけ。

その時のイベントのルールは、「８×１０（六つ切りサイズとよばれる規格）のプリントを持って来れば、ビールは無料」ということだったので、しっかりルール守らないとと思って必死で印刷用紙探して持って行ったら、ルール守らないで自由なサイズで持ってくるやつ多数…という面白さもあり。

それで。日本でもこれやりたいと思って。

それで。やることにしたんです。

特にルールはないんだけど、「自分の写真をプリントして皆と話したい」人は何枚でも持ってきて良くて、もちろん持ってこなくてもいいし。すっごい楽な写真展みたいな。

そのプリントを飾るわけでもなく、テーブルに好きなようにおいて、ただビールかコーヒー飲みながら、もしくはなんか食べながら話すだけ。眺めるだけでもいいし。

というか、なんとなく写真好きな人同士が出会えるイベントにしたいだけです。

気に入った写真のプリントがあったら自由に持ち帰っていいし。被写体してくださった方の写真のプリントするし。チェキの写真もいっぱいあるから、自分が写ってるやつは持って帰ってくれていいし。一眼カメラとか持ってなくていいし。

という感じの、軽い忘年会をするので、お時間ある方はご連絡ください。

「写真は嫌いだけどコーヒーだけ飲みたい」という人も歓迎ですｗ

About the Event:

This year I had the chance to visit Portland, Oregon. One of the top city people would want to live in America. My first visit there was during May, where it just started from me signing up for this Street Art exploration tour in Portland. From there, I was able to be in touch with many photographers and models and stay connected through Instagram. As I planned my second visit back to city during September, that photographer I met last time contacted me whether I’d be interested coming to a social event to meet other photographers there.

The event was simple. Everyone brought their own photos, ate pizza and drank.

The only rule was that the photos needed to be printed 8*10 inches, then the beer was for free. Back then I thought they were going to be strict about the rules so I was desperate to find the right printing size…Turns out, all these people came just bringing photos in various sizes lol.

So. I wanted to do something similar in Japan.
So. I decided to do one!

There’s not much any rules to this, but for people who want to “share their printed photos and socialize” can bring multiple photos, or not! More like, a very casual photo exhibition.

Placing all the photos on a table randomly, sipping one coffee or beer, chewing on something, socializing, just casually skimming through the pictures…Basically, a social event where people who like photos could get together.

If anyone finds a favorite photo, feel free to take it home. Photos for people who’d helped me model could have their photos printed. There’s polaroid photos too. You could take home photos of your own photoshoots. You don’t even need to bring your own camera.

Something like that. A casual End of Year Party.
