October is getting cooler, and it’s one of the most comfortable seasons of the year!
Join us in Ogawamachi, Saitama — a town famous for organic farming — and enjoy experiencing organic farming while surrounded by nature! 👨‍🌾✨

On the day, depending on the weather and the condition of the fields, we’ll do farm work to prepare for autumn and winter vegetables.
Feel the soil with your hands and enjoy a refreshing time of farm work 🥬✨

After the work, we’ll have lunch at the traditional Japanese house we rent 😋
This time, we’ll enjoy pumpkin croquettes and other pumpkin side dishes made with pumpkins harvested from our farm this summer 🎃
Let’s enjoy the seasonal flavors and connecting with each other✨

After lunch, we’ll go on a light hike and enjoy forest bathing in the forest we manage!
Breathe in the fresh forest air and relax your mind and body surrounded by nature 🌳✨

After that, refresh yourself with hand-made pumpkin pudding and hand-made ume soda made from plum syrup we prepared this summer 🍮🥤

Enjoy organic farming, hiking, and seasonal Japanese food culture in the middle of nature, and connect with like-minded people 😊

■Schedule:
10:00: Meet at the entrance of Ogawamachi Station
10:00-10:10: Self-introductions
10:10-10:30: Walk to the farm
10:30-11:45: Organic farming experience
11:45-13:30: Lunch
13:30-14:30: Forest hiking
14:30-15:00: Dessert & ume soda
15:00-15:30: Return to Ogawamachi Station
(Train example: 15:46 departure from Ogawamachi, 16:49 arrival at Ikebukuro)
*The schedule is a rough estimate. The event will go ahead even with light rain, but activities may change.
*If you have any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, etc.), please let us know by direct message at least 10 days before the event.

■Participation Fee:
・4,500 yen + 500 yen for insurance = 5,000 yen
・The fee covers lunch, dessert, ume soda ingredients, activity preparation, guide support, and the maintenance of the forest we manage.
・Please pay in cash at the meeting place on the day of the event. (We’ll have change available)

■About Insurance:
・Insurance covers medical expenses for injuries.

■Hiking Course Level:
・Beginner level
・There will be some gentle uphill and downhill areas.
・We’ll walk together at a comfortable pace for everyone.

■Meeting Place and Time:
・In front of Ogawamachi Station on the Tobu Tojo Line.
*Note: This is Ogawamachi in Saitama, not Ogawamachi in Tokyo.
・10:00 AM. There is a convenience store nearby. Please take care of any shopping or restroom needs before we start.
・We cannot wait for late arrivals, so please be on time.

■Train Access Example:
・You can come directly from Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Yokohama, Shinjuku-sanchome, Musashi-Kosugi, Nakameguro, etc.
・See the comments section for details.

■What to Bring & Wear:
・Drinking water
・Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty during farm work.
・Hiking shoes are ideal for the forest, but sneakers are also okay.
・We will provide work gloves, but feel free to bring your own if you have a pair.
・Change of clothes if you’d like to change (We have a room for you to change)

■Confirmation Deadline:
✅ 2 weeks before (September 28).
✅ We will send a confirmation message to all registered participants. Please reply by the deadline. If we do not receive a reply, we will place you on the Wait List.
✅ To avoid food waste, please avoid canceling after confirmation. (If you are sick or injured, feel free to let us know even at the last minute.)

・We are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, lost or stolen items, or other issues that may occur during the event.

The guides speak both Japanese and English.

“有機農業体験とかぼちゃランチ＆プリン、手作り梅ソーダと森林ハイキング！”

10月は涼しくなり、一年の中でも最も過ごしやすい季節のひとつです！
日本で有機農業が盛んな町・小川町で、自然を感じながら有機農業を体験してみませんか？
当日は、その日の天候や畑の状況に合わせて、秋冬野菜のための畑作業を行います。
土に触れ、心地よい農作業のひとときを楽しみましょう🥬✨
作業のあとは、私たちが借りている古民家でランチタイム😋
今回は、夏に畑で収穫したかぼちゃを使った「かぼちゃコロッケ」や、かぼちゃを使った副菜をご用意します🎃
季節の味覚を味わいながら、交流を楽しみましょう✨

昼食後は、私たちが管理している森でハイキング&森林浴でリラックス🌳
軽い運動をしながら、森の清々しい空気で森林浴を楽しみましょう。
自然に囲まれて、身体も心も癒されるひとときです🌳✨

その後は、「手作りかぼちゃプリン」と、夏に仕込んだ梅シロップで作る「手作り梅ソーダ」でリフレッシュ🍮🥤
自然の中で農業体験&ハイキング&季節の日本料理文化を楽しみ、自然好きな人との出会いを楽しみましょう😊

■ スケジュール：
10:00: 小川町駅の入口で集合
10:00-10:10: 自己紹介
10:10-10:30: 畑までウォーキング
10:30-11:45: 有機農業体験
11:45-13:30: 古民家へ移動、ランチ
13:30-14:30: 森でハイキング
14:30-15:00: デザート&梅ソーダ
15:00-15:30: 小川町駅に戻る
（15:46小川町駅発、16:49池袋駅着の電車）
*スケジュールは目安です。小雨くらいだと雨天決行ですが、内容が変更される可能性があります。
＊ベジタリアンやヴィーガンの方など、食事に制限がある方は10日前までにダイレクトメッセージでお知らせください。

■ 参加費:
・4,500円＋保険代500円=5,000円
・参加費は昼食・デザート・梅ソーダの材料、アクティビティの準備、ガイド、私たちが管理する山の維持のために使用されます。
・当日、集合場所で現金で集めます。（お釣りを用意します）

■保険について
・怪我などに対する治療費が補償されます。

■ 森でのハイキングコースのレベル:
・初級者レベル
・少し上り坂や下り坂のアップダウンがあります。
・皆でペースを合わせて歩きます。

■ 集合場所と時間
・東武東上線小川町駅の入り口前 ※注意：東京の小川町ではなく埼玉県の小川町です。
・午前10:00。近くにコンビニがあります。必要な物の購入やトイレなど済ませて集合ください。
・遅れて到着された方をお待ちできないので、お時間にお気をつけください。

■当日利用可能な電車の例：
・池袋、渋谷、横浜、新宿三丁目、武蔵小杉、中目黒などから電車で一本で来れます。
・コメント欄をご参考ください。

■持ち物、服装
・飲料水
・畑で作業をするので、汚れても問題のない格好で来てください。
・森ではハイキングシューズだと歩きやすいですが、スニーカーで来られる方もいます。
・軍手はこちらで用意しますが、お持ちの方はご持参ください。
・着替えたい方は着替え（着替える場所を用意します）

■確定期日
✅ 2週間前（9月28日）。
✅ 参加申し込みいただいた方に参加の確認メッセージをお送りするので、確定期日までにご返信お願いします。ご返信がない方はWait List に入れさせていただきます。
✅ 食材の準備を行うため、食材の廃棄に繋がってしまいますので確定後のキャンセルはご遠慮ください。（病気や怪我などの場合は直前でもお気兼ねなくご連絡ください。）
