With a background in physics, Laurens works on developing AI models to predict postoperative complications using real-world patient data.

**Siri van der Meijden** \- Head of Clinical Affairs at **Healthplus.ai**
Siri holds a PhD in AI for perioperative and critical care from Leiden University Medical Center and has a background in Technical Medicine.

Together, they will share the story of **PERISCOPE** \- from identifying a pressing clinical need to building a technical AI solution with real\-world impact\.
