A bold statement, I know.
But after years of leadership development, mentoring and training, many women still leave meetings thinking:

*“Why didn’t I say that?”*
Or watch a male colleague repeat their idea 10 minutes later and get all the credit.

They carefully manage how they show up so they don’t seem:
• too emotional
• too direct
• too ambitious
• too opinionated
They over-prepare for meetings and projects, just in case.

They’re told they need to be **more confident**, **less emotional**, **more assertive**.

And many end up working **twice as hard to be taken half as seriously.**

These are the exact challenges I see again and again.

I’ve been researching **why traditional leadership advice doesn’t work for women** and what actually *does*.
