We've got one of our new venue!

Join us for 1 hour and a half of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 18:15 P.M on Fri, June 27,2025. Please note it is the different place and the date as usual.

SCHEDULE:
18:00 - Doors open

18:15 - Quick introductions

18:30 - Timer starts: write for 1 hour more

19:45 - The End: chat, take off, or keep writing

Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.

OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens between 19:45-20:00.

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.

7mins walk from Keihan line Keihan Sanjo/Kyoto City Subway Sanjo station.

There is the gallery bar space at the first floor of the bookstore and find this event's organizer Saeko.

Cash only. It is better to prepare the exact amount.

What Should I Bring?

Whatever you need to be able to write!

-Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the overhead sounds around us or the occasional conversation by other people.

-Bring any other things that make you comfortable.

-There is outlet and Free Wi-Fi. But pre-charged laptop is preferable.

「京阪三条駅」下車→北東出口（BOOK OFFビル）を出て川端通りを北上→フレスコを越えて一筋目（仁王門通り）を東に約150メートル→大タヌキのいる通り（交差点の角に、緑の看板あり）を北へ120歩→きんだあらんど到着

【京都市バス】
「新間ノ町二条」下車→(二条川端郵便局の向かい街路樹の下に緑の看板あり）新間之町通りを南に120歩→きんだあらんど到着
「東山二条」下車→二条通りを西へ約150メートル→ジャスコと二条川端郵便局の間の通り（街路樹の下に、緑の看板あり）を南に120歩→きんだあらんど到着
