South East Social Club is a singles gateway for people in South East Melbourne of all ages to get-together and socialise. Most of the event will be held in South East Melbourne or Mornington Peninsula. Anyone from any area can join even if outside this area and we are open to having regular events outside of here also,.
Various activities will be held every month and it is an opportunity to make friend and share common interest. We do discussion groups, coffee, lunch, dinner, fitness, walking, yoga, any special event happening in community, fun activity, and much more.

Event Description:
Roaring Lion is Australia’s premiere Bob Marley tribute band. On stage, its eight band members present a colourful explosion of the best reggae of our times — the beautiful and enduring music of Bob Marley.
Formed in 2019, Roaring Lion is based in Queensland and has been performing regularly up and down the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, in Brisbane and further up in North Queensland. Everywhere they play, their audiences sing and dance, in happy celebration of the man and his message.
The musicians in Roaring Lion work hard to represent Bob Marley’s music with respect and authenticity. The music is classic roots reggae with drum ‘n’ bass, bubble, skank, lead and rhythm guitars. Backing vocalists sing harmonies on every song, while keys play the familiar sounds of clavinet, Moog, and Hammond organ, plus horns and strings.
In 2024, Roaring Lion had the honour to open the Queensland premiere for the ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ movie by Paramount Pictures.
The band consistently presents a tight show of the most popular songs — including everything from the ‘Legend’ album — and other well-known and cherished melodies. Roaring Lion continues to grow its repertoire of over sixty songs to keep shows fresh and deepen engagement with its loyal followers.
Visually, Roaring Lion reminds us that Bob Marley’s music reaches every corner of the world. This band of guys and gals have ancestry from Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, Europe and Asia.
Roaring Lion delivers a show for all to remember, and is consistently invited back to perform at venues.
