[Overview]
Are you living in Japan and looking for a meaningful way to connect with local culture and people? Join our monthly "Shodo" (Japanese calligraphy) class near Iriya Station!
Unlike tourist-oriented one-off workshops, this is a real, ongoing class where you will practice side-by-side with local Japanese students. It is a perfect opportunity for Japan-based residents and expats to experience an authentic Japanese hobby, improve your concentration, and build connections within the local community.

[What We Do]
- Learn proper brush grip and ink control.
- Practice basic strokes and write seasonal Kanji characters.
- Interact with local students during the session.
[Who Can Join?]
- Any foreign residents living in Japan (Beginners are absolutely welcome!).
- No Japanese language or prior calligraphy experience required.
- The instructor will guide you using simple English and visual demonstrations.

- Date & Time: Saturday, June 6, 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM]
- Location: Near Iriya Station (Hibiya Line). The exact address will be shared with confirmed attendees.
- Fee: 3,000 yen (All tools, ink, and paper are included!)
- Capacity: Limited to 4 spots for foreign residents per session to ensure quality interaction.
[What to Wear]
- Important: Calligraphy ink can stain clothes and does not wash out easily. Please wear dark-colored clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. (All tools like brushes and paper are provided, so you can come empty-handed!).
