Rope climbing session Basecamp Kinshicho!
The organisers will be here from 7pm but feel free to join (and leave) anytime. Some people stay climbing after the event is over, but we set it for 2hrs to guarantee the organisers are there for at least 2 hours.
The event is free while you only pay for the usage of gym. (We are a climbing community trying to provide the place for climbers to meet and climb together. We are not making any profit from the participants so please understand this is a meetup event instead of a training session or workshop.)
About usage of the gym: in Japan you don't need a test or certificate to climb rope. There are top rope sections and lead climbing sections for rope climbing. You will need harness and devices for top rope and if you want to lead, there's 550 yen rope rentals at the gym. You can rent harnesses and devices at the gym too.
