ABSTRACT
Literally type magic by Valentin
Ever had to deal with a stringly typed library, forcing you to provide strings for identifiers, potentially allowing for lots of runtime errors? Valentin will present how we can fix such problems without replacing the library, introducing Scala’s so called literal types and a bit of typelevel programming.
Haskell for Scala developers by Gabriel
Haskell is a purely functional, generic purpose programming language. It has the reputation of being hard to learn but really how hard is it? Does it have anything in common with Scala? Do we have to throw our knowledge away and start over? Gabriel will answer these questions and demonstrate that you could be the next Haskeller!
