Linkyu Nature Awareness Walk in August ~ Returning to Yourself in Nature ~
詳細
Do you ever feel like you are moving forward on the outside, yet being pulled back by something on the inside? You know you need to keep going, but your body feels tired, your mind is numb, and it's getting harder to hear what you truly want.
A walk like this won't hand you the answer — what it offers is a few hours where your attention rests on one thing at a time, so the noise settles and you can start to hear yourself again.
Join us for a gentle small-group morning in nature: breathing practice, slow walking, a simple awareness experiment, light stretching, and reflection. The group is kept small (up to 8) so everyone has enough space.
Our route passes Jimmuji Temple, a historic Buddhist temple said to have been founded in the 8th century, then continues up Takatoriyama — including a short chain-assisted rock climb that asks something different of you than walking does. Overcoming it brings a unique sense of relief and satisfaction.
This walk is for you if you are in a new job or career transition, deciding whether to stay in Japan,
telling yourself you'll slow down later — always later —
or simply in need of a few hours in nature, off your devices.
📅 Saturday, August 8, 2026, 10:00–13:30
📍 Meet at Jimmuji Station (Keikyu Zushi Line) at 10:00 — please be on time

☀️ About the August heat: we start at 10:00, keep the pace slow, and most of the route is under tree cover — noticeably cooler than the street. Please do bring enough water.
