【Global Video Tech Meetup 2021】
今回のTokyo Video Techは世界中のVideo Techが順番にセミナーを配信するGlobal Video Tech Meetup 2021に参加しています。5月27日に世界中のVideo Tech Meetupの20チームがイベントライブ配信のバトンを繋いでいきます。
参加チームは発表順に、オークランド、メルボルン、シドニー、東京、台北、テルアビブ、バルセロナ、パリ、ベルリン、ミラノ、ロンドン、モンテビデオ、キッチナーウォータールー地域、ニューヨーク、ボストン、デンバー、サンフランシスコ、ポートランド、シアトルです。
当日の様子はDemuxed Twitchチャンネル（申し込み後にTwitchのURLが表示されます）でご覧頂けます。

This time, Tokyo Video Tech is participating in the Global Video Tech Meetup 2021, where Video Techs from around the globe take turns delivering seminars. The participating teams are listed in order of presentation.
Participating teams are, in order of presentation, Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney, Tokyo, Taipei, Tel Aviv, Barcelona, Paris, Berlin, Milan, London, Montevideo, Kitchener-Waterloo Region, New York, Boston, Denver, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle.

快適なビデオサービスを支える裏側には、表層に決して現れない非常に多くの作業工程があります。システムが生成する多くのログを解析し、快適に・便利に視聴できるよう、同時に複数の課題にチャレンジし達成することが、次のステップへの近道なのです。サービスの目標、エンジニアの目標などの実例を紹介受け、私たちは日々より良いサービス提供を目指し新しいDiveを続けます。
Behind the scenes, there are so many work processes that never appear on the surface to support a comfortable video service. The shortcut to the next step is to analyze the many logs generated by the system, and to challenge and accomplish multiple tasks at the same time in order to provide a comfortable and convenient viewing experience. With the introduction of examples of the goals of the service and the goals of the engineers, we will continue to make new Dives to provide better services every day.

Description:
Streaming Reliability Engineering should be applied to a video streaming service which is destined to keep evolving for years in order to deliver new value in media to people. The engineers have to challenge new technical missions and experiences rapidly as they keep the product reliable enough for viewers to use with no concern. In this session, I am going to talk about how reliability engineering is applied to a Japanese video streaming service, ABEMA.
