WordPress Meetup Tokyo - August 2013

Hello WordPress developers in Tokyo!

We are going to hold next WordPress Meetup Tokyo event for English-speakers on Saturday, August 10th, at coworking space "Co-Edo (https://www.facebook.com/CoWorkingSpaceKayabacho)" in Kayaba-cho.

Agenda:

This month, we would like to focus more to developing - for developers (developer/designer) working on .org setup (not .com).

As some of you may know, WordCamp San Fransico, one of the biggest WordPress event of the year, was held last weekend. Many sessions sounds very interesting, and some are very cutting edge.

Videos and slides from these sessions has started to emerge. So we thought may be we can watch them together, perhaps try out some stuff hands on, discuss/share/ask others the stuff you couldn't quite understand, and learn.

Have a look through here, where videos from WCSF 2013 gets posted. Let us know in comment, if there are any particular one that you would like to be picked on.

Charge: ¥1,000/per person

This is the standard usage fee of the coworking space. If you wish, you can use the space ( before and ) after the meetup with no additional charge (Co-Edo is opened from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends).

All presentations and discussions will be in English.

How to get to Coworking Space Kayabacho, Co-Edo

From Kayaba-cho Station (Hibiya-line and Tozai-line)

From the Exit #3:
Walk straight to the direction of Starbucks. Walk pass Starbucks, and go over the short bridge. Walk pass Cafe Veloce, and it is the next building. The building is named "PA building (PAビル)", and we are on 5F.
The front door will be locked (auto-lock), so please ring 03-5542-0470, and we will open it for you. Just say you came for WordPress Meetup (in English is fine).

From the Exit #4 or #5:
Go across the road to Starbucks, and it is same as above from there.
