WordPress Meetup Tokyo #33 - November 2016: Theme Dev & Optimization

Please note the presentation part of this meetup start at 2pm. Feel free to come in & leave at any time between noon - 3pm.

14:00-15:00: WordPress Optimization presentation by our meetup member Hassan.

Theme Development Workshop:
You will need to bring a laptop that has a WordPress development environment. For details, see Setting up a Development Environment (https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/getting-started/setting-up-a-development-environment/).

Some of the event organizers will be there to help out if you have questions (or show a quick demo on theme development, if attendees are interested).

WordPress Optimization Presentation:
Hassan (ハッサン) is a C# Programmer and Android Developer at SY Systems.

He will be giving a talk on how to optimize your WordPress install for speed and efficiency.

Time: The presentation starts at 2pm. Optionally, you can come at noon & work on a theme.

Charge: ¥1,000/per person

As usual, this includes the standard usage fee of the coworking space. If you wish, you can use the space before the meetup with no additional charge (open 10 am to 6 pm on weekends).

All presentations and discussions will be in English.

How to get to Coworking Space Kayabacho, Co-Edo

Nearest station is Kayaba-cho Station (Hibiya-line and Tozai-line)

From the station, it is about 3 min. walk. You can find Co-Edo on the maps at Kayabacho Station.

From the Exit #3:
Walk straight to the direction of Starbucks. Walk pass Starbucks, and go over the short bridge. Walk pass Cafe Veloce, and it is the next building. The building is named "PA building (PAビル)", and we are on the 5th floor.

From the Exit #4 or #5:
Go across the road to Starbucks, and it is same as above from there.
