Comiket 84 Day 1/Day 2

I will wait in front of the big screen on Day 1 and 2 (in front of the entrance hall) from 12 noon to 12:30, (with the catalog) if anyone has any questions or needs any help finding their way around :3

Just look for someone suspiciously carrying a small flag (below) which will probably be sticking out of my blue bag

Summer Comike 84 is almost here (August 10 - August 12).

Day 1 is mostly BL but usually also has the best Cosplay and is the best day to get LE stuff from the industry booths. I'll be going mostly for the cosplay.

Interestingly, they seem to have swapped Days 2 and 3 and original works is now on Day 2 (normally 3). So Day 2 is looking like the best day for the non-BL doujinshi crowd. Since I collect illustration books, this is also my shopping day.

The plan:

There seems to be a lot of people coming from a lot of different places, so the idea is to set up a designated meeting place where people can stop by and rest/chat and meet other people during the day.

This will probably be in the area in front of the Tully's Coffee (as you come up the stairs, and see the big screen, its the outdoor area on the right).

On Day 1, I'll set up camp around 3pm. In order to find me, just look for someone who looks like my picture (Andrew Boey).
I'll also try to have the picture of the Tokyo Otaku Unite with Kirino and Kuroneko (the one on the top left of this page) as a flag.

On Day 2, hopefully everyone would have met each other already and can recognize each other.

When the event ends for the day, 4pm, all interested can gather up and we can figure out something, maybe dinner =)

It would be great fun to talk otaku and share doujinshi/cosplay photos =)

Also on the first day, as Paul Accisano suggested, it might even be an idea to stay around for the Tokyo Bay Fireworks (but this will likely result in being stuck at ODaiba until midnight).
