Join us for Monday morning coffee, crafting and conversation! Bring what ever portable project you are working on. If you are new to the craft there are usually folks to help you learn. There are a variety of coffee and tea items and a tiny selection of pastry items. Pineview Coffee Company is a small yet spacious coffee shop on the 1st floor inside the Aspen Lake Amenity building. There is only a small sign by the door that has the name of the coffee shop so it can be a little challenging to find. Hope to see you there! The Council of Solace is a special meditation where we gather to direct our spiritual energy to help bring about healing and peace to the world. Many people do this as part of a daily practice in service of others and find it to be a personally enriching experience that provides them with a sense of renewal. Please join us as we gather for a noontime meditation each weekday.

Hey everyone! Let’s go to Downtown Round Rock and see a FREE show! This is part of the city’s concert series where there are free shows every Wednesday until the end of June. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair so that you have a place to sit during the show. Feel free to bring snacks to share or you can get popcorn sold at the park or pizza and beer next door. Music starts at 7, but you may want to arrive early to grab a good spot. See ya there!

It's Too Fun Tuesday with Fingerpistol at the Little Longhorn. Fingerpistol will shoot up the dance floor at 8:00 and play amazing original tunes plus a variety of country standards. No cover charge, but please bring some cash for tipping the band. There is a Two Step lesson with Hill Country Two Step at 7:00. Lesson will teach the basic two step and a turn or two. Turns instructed will vary from week to week so come back often and build your repertoire of moves and spins! If you plan to take the lesson, please indicate so in the Comments section! Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Join us for one of our favorite hikes this Tuesday (4/21/26) at 6:30 pm as we hike the Hoover Dam Scenic Trail, starting at the west end of the dam. This hike includes some paved paths/roads along with some dirt trails, with a few beautiful views of the reservoir. Join us for this 2 mile hike, finding us in the parking lot at the corner of Sunbury and Smoke Burr.
