Japanese Calligraphy Workshop vol.4 and Tea Break 書道ワークショップ&お茶会

A calligraphy workshop will be held with the calligrapher Ginsui Kubota.
Beginners are more than welcome.

Learn the process of creating your own favorite word from kanji, hiragana, katakana or alphabet into a work of art.
Learn how to handle the brush, balance the margins and express yourself with a single stroke, along with the spirit of Japanese calligraphy.

Calligrapher Kubota Ginsui
Activities range from solo exhibitions, calligraphy classes, naming calligraphy, nameplates, nameplates and signboards (for sushi restaurants, etc.) to providing calligraphy for Japanese sake, Japanese tea, artist PVs and books.

CURRICULUM
1⃣Decide which characters you want to write (kanji, hiragana, katakana, alphabet).
2⃣Basic instruction on how to hold the brush, ink pouring tips and stroke movement. Self-study.
3⃣Private instruction.
4⃣Self-study towards the finish. Personal tutorials.
5⃣Clear writing on a sheet of calligraphy paper (1 sheet).
Finished by adding the first letter of the name with a vermilion brush pen.

After the class, take a break with Japanese tea and Japanese sweets.

WHAT TO BRING
If you have hanshi paper for practice, please bring it with you. If you do not have any, we will sell them to you for ¥10 per sheet. All other necessary tools will be provided.

活動は個展、書道教室、命名書、表札、看板（鮨屋等）の制作から日本酒、日本茶、アーティストPV、書籍への題字提供まで多岐に渡る。

カリキュラム

1⃣書きたい字の決定（漢字、平仮名、片仮名、アルファベット）。

2⃣筆の持ち方、墨注ぎのコツ、運筆の基本指導。自習。

3⃣個人指導。

4⃣仕上げに向かい自習。個人指導。

5⃣清書紙（1枚）に清書。
朱色の筆ペンで名前の頭の一文字（雅印の代わり）を添え終了。

終了後、お時間の許す方は日本茶と和菓子で休憩しましょう。

練習用に半紙のある方はご持参ください。お持ちでない方は1枚10円でお譲りいたします。その他必要な道具は全てこちらでご用意いたします。
