そんな方が、気軽に英語・日本語を使って交流できる場です！

18:40〜19:00 Japanese Time（日本語の時間）
19:00〜19:20 English Time（英語の時間）
19:20〜19:40 Japanese Time（日本語の時間）
19:40〜20:00 English Time（英語の時間）

English Time は、日本人が英語にチャレンジする時間。英語が得意な方は、ゆっくり・やさしい言葉で話す「サポート役」としてご協力ください。
Japanese Time は役割が逆になり、日本語を学んでいる方がチャレンジする番。日本人の方がサポート役になります。
どちらの時間も、間違えてOK・単語が出てこなければ翻訳アプリやジェスチャーもOK。「相手の言語の時間は、相手を助ける時間」と思って気楽に楽しんでください。

主催者について
主催の私は、日本で社会人として働いたあと、バンクーバーに1年間 Co-op 留学し、2026年9月に帰国しました。
「社会人からの留学ってどうだった？」「Co-op ってどんな制度？」「現地での仕事探しや家探しは？」など、留学・ワーホリ・海外生活について気になることがあれば、当日気軽に声をかけてください！
帰国直後だからこそ話せるリアルな情報をお伝えします

WAHONNECT Language Exchange
Want to practice Japanese, meet Japanese people, and make new international friends in Osaka?
WAHONNECT Language Exchange is a casual Japanese × English meetup where you can practice a language, meet new people, and connect with both Japanese and international communities.
Whether you're learning Japanese, living or traveling in Japan, or simply looking for a fun way to meet new people, everyone is welcome!

Schedule
6:30 PM Doors open
6:40 – 7:00 PM Japanese Time
7:00 – 7:20 PM English Time
7:20 – 7:40 PM Japanese Time
7:40 – 8:00 PM English Time

During English Time, Japanese participants practice English. If you're confident in English, please be a "supporter": speak slowly and use simple words.
During Japanese Time, roles switch. It's your turn to practice Japanese, and Japanese participants will support you.
Mistakes are welcome in both halves. Translation apps, gestures, and mixing languages are all OK. Think of the other person's language time as your time to help them.

About the organizer
After working full-time in Japan, I spent a year in Vancouver on a Co-op study program and came back to Japan in September 2026. I know what it feels like to be the newcomer in a new country.
If you have questions about life in Japan, or just want to compare notes on living abroad, feel free to come talk to me on the day

You don't need to be fluent in Japanese or English.
All levels are welcome, and you can join even if you're a beginner!
We'll prepare conversation topics and small groups, so you'll always have a chance to talk.
You can come alone or with friends. Many people join on their own, so don't worry if you don't know anyone yet!
