Cheap Ski/Snowboard trip - Stay in a unique Artist Residence

Come stay in a beautiful old Kominka close to the newly opened Mineyama Kogen Ski Resort. Meet and drink with interesting people.

Schedule

I can meet you at Kobe Sumiyoshi JR at 5:00pm and travel with you to Himeji if you don't know the way.

Friday Meet Up - 6:00pm Himeji JR Station

After Meet up

Cheeky street drink and look at the 'White Crane' Castle in Himeji. If interested go to a super friendly bar called Nobu.

Around 10:30 (or later or earlier) take the Bantan Line to Niino, near the Artist Residence.

Walk to the house - about 10 minutes.

Saturday Morning: Breakfast (provided by Host)

Train from Niino to Teramae (1 stop) and take the Mineyama Shuttle Bus to the Resort.

Take bus to Resort: 9:20/10:05 (500 Yen)

Guests pay for lift pass and get rental gear if needed. Host will support. Basic instruction for skiing and snowboarding can be given by the host who can do both.

Food available at Resort and paid for by guests.

After the Skiing/Snowboarding go to the Relaxia Onsen (near resort) and return back to the Artist Residence at 9:30pm or it is possible to leave earlier and eat amazing Yuzu Ramen (https://www.google.co.jp/maps/place/%E4%BD%99%E7%94%B0%E5%B1%8B%EF%BC%88%E3%83%A9%E3%83%BC%E3%83%A1%E3%83%B3%EF%BC%89/@35.0651889,134.7427575,20.53z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x544497e457c64f!8m2!3d35.065103!4d134.742368?hl=en) at a great old fashioned shop.

Saturday night....Hang out and Drink under the Kotatsu, play games, listen to music, talk....make a vlog....or podcast....Get Creative.

Sunday > Same as Saturday or people are welcome to explore the area by bicycle. There are onsens, mountains and waterfalls. My costs are the price of accomadation near the Ski/Snowboard Resort.
