Volleyball (3 hours) for Intermediate to Advanced Players

Saturday, April 26th, from 12:00-15:00. Intermediate to Advanced Players. 500 yen (cash only, please) entrance fee to cover Meetup and Venue costs. Max of 24 players, to have 4 teams at most, which will rotate each game.

Net height will be 243cm, and all players are welcome (gender, language, etc.) to join if you know volleyball fundamentals.

After a brief warm-up, teams will be made, and we will play as many games as possible within the time limit.

This will be our first-ever event to try and have more volleyball opportunities in the Yokohama area. Ideally, attendees will have an understanding of fundamental volleyball skills to maintain a strong level of play and consistency.

The event will be held at Horizon Japan International School (HJIS), which can be found here (https://maps.app.goo.gl/7fgiChcRMeBU6a1a6). The gym is on the first floor, so please enter at either the first floor entrance (down the stairs) or the second floor entrance (up the stairs, past the front desk, and down the stairs to the gym).

Please bring footwear that will not mark or damage the floor. Two change rooms are available (no showers) and one bathroom on the first floor. Other parts of the campus are strictly off limits.

The host and venue are not responsible for any injuries which occur during play or practice.

If there are not enough attendees due to this being a new group, and being so close to Golden Week, this event might be cancelled, and you will be notified the morning of the event (April 26th).
