京都洋書読書会Meetup--Kyoto English Book Club Meetup to discuss "the Love Hypothesis"
詳細
1. We'll discuss "the Love Hypothesis" by Ali Hazelwood. (352 pages long)
Below is a synopsis of this book:
"The story (published in 2021) follows a female scientist’s comedic journey to true love that’s fraught with lies, tears, and awkward moments. The book was an instant NY Times bestseller, a BuzzFeed Best Summer Read of 2021, and Goodreads Choice Awards finalist. In short it is a uplifting romance with a happy ending. A very fitting novel for the Feb meetup that will take place just a day after St.Valentine's Day.
2. Participants are asked to have either read the whole book or at least
one third of it before the the meetup.
3. We'll meet on February 15th. The participants are expected to show up a few minutes prior to the meetup, which is to start at 14:00 jst.
4. The venue will be at a place called "Cafe Veloce Karasuma Takoyakushi" located close to Shijo Subway Station, which is only two stops from Kyoto Subway Station. The cafe is alongside Karasuma-dohri (Karasuma Street).
