# AWS Global Community Gatherings – Hands-on Special Session

This time, AWS Global Community Gatherings will be a little different from our usual format!
Instead of several short talks, we will host a special hands-on technical session with one featured speaker.
Through a step-by-step walkthrough and demo, we'll take a deeper look at a practical AWS implementation. You are welcome to simply watch and learn, or try the solution in your own AWS environment during or after the session.
We look forward to seeing you online!

## ++ Hands-on Session ++

### Automated Incident Response with AWS DevOps Agent

Investigation & Root Cause Analysis for Security Dashboard Findings via CloudWatch Alarms & Webhook Integration
Incident investigations often require manual analysis across logs, metrics, alerts, and configuration changes.
In this hands-on session, we will explore how AI-powered DevOps agents can help automate incident investigation and accelerate root-cause analysis.
Through a step-by-step walkthrough and demo, you will learn about automated incident triage, investigation workflows, operational data correlation, and root-cause analysis using AWS services.
The speaker will also provide CloudFormation templates, Python scripts, a runbook, and supporting materials so you can explore and implement the solution yourself.

## ++ Level ++

Level 300
This is a technical hands-on session, but you don't need to follow along with the hands-on exercises to participate.
If you're interested in AI-powered incident response, you're very welcome to join, watch the demo, and learn with us!

## ++ Before the Session ++

You are welcome to join just to watch and learn. Hands-on participation is optional.
If you would like to try the solution in your own AWS environment during the session or afterward, please prepare:

  • An AWS account with Administrator permissions
  • Access to the Kiro CLI is recommended, especially for troubleshooting and exploring the implementation in more detail

The required CloudFormation templates, Python scripts, runbook, and supporting materials will be provided by the speaker.
You can follow along during the session or try the materials later at your own pace.
Please note that using AWS resources in your own account may incur charges.
