Monday nights are slow, so let's spice it up with some games.

Date: Every Monday Night
Time: 6:00 pm-11:00 pm
Free Participation (a minimum 1 drink would be appreciated)
Jump in or out at any time.
At the register, please say "boardgame meetup."

You can bring your own game too! Just post a comment to let us know what you are bringing!

***Please note that we have many regular participants who do not use Meetup, so there are always more people than it looks like here! Do RSVP if you plan to come so we know how many people to expect. Thank you!

We have a few gamecube controllers and a pro controller. If you are more comfortable with your own controller, feel free to bring it!

Learn to play Japanese Riichi Mahjong in the heart of Shinsaibashi!
Join us for a friendly evening of riichi mahjong at Cafe LA, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced player. Our volunteer instructors will guide newcomers through the basics while seasoned players can jump straight into games.

Event Details:
📅 Date: Thursday, April 16th
🕖 Time: 7:00pm–10:30pm
📍 Location: Cafe LA (B1F, 2-3-7 NishiShinsaibashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka — near Midosuji Don Quijote)

✅ Tables separated by skill level (beginner & advanced)
✅ All mahjong tiles and table mats provided

💴 Returning players: ¥500 entry fee

Who Should Come:

• Never played mahjong before? Perfect! We'll teach you from scratch.
• Played online but never with physical tiles? Come get the real experience.
• Experienced player? Help us welcome beginners and enjoy some casual games.

No experience necessary — just bring your curiosity and willingness to learn. This is a trial event, and if it's popular, we'll launch a monthly series starting in May!
