# EMOTION IN CONVERSATION / Feeling Beyond Words

### A Collaborative Zine Workshop

What if connection begins not with understanding, but with listening?
In this workshop, we'll explore how emotions can be felt, witnessed, and expressed beyond language through meaningful one-on-one conversations and creative collage.
By listening deeply to another person's story and transforming it into a visual response, we'll create a collaborative zine that captures the emotions, reflections, and connections shared throughout the workshop.
Rather than documenting a place, this workshop maps human connection—inviting you to discover how listening can become a creative practice.

## Workshop Flow

### 1. Opening & Introduction

An introduction to the workshop concept, followed by simple exercises to help everyone feel comfortable and present.

### 2. One-on-One Conversations

Participants pair up for meaningful conversations, practicing deep listening and sharing personal experiences in a supportive environment.

### 3. Reflection & Collage Creation

Using collage, drawing, and words, you'll create a visual response inspired by your partner's story—translating emotions and impressions into creative expression.

### 4. Collaborative Zine Assembly

Each participant contributes their page to a collective zine, creating a shared record of the conversations, emotions, and connections formed during the workshop.

### 5. Reflection & Sharing (Optional)

We'll gather to reflect on the experience of speaking, listening, creating, and connecting. Participants are welcome to share their work and thoughts with the group.

Wenfei will guide the session, creating a welcoming space to explore creativity, empathy, and human connection through conversation, collage, and zine-making.
