⛰️Mt. Ontake Hiking with Remaining Snow + Onsen♨️ 残雪が残る御嶽山ハイキング＋温泉

Climb Mount Ontake (3,067m), the second highest independent mountain in Japan.
In June, there may still be some remaining snow near the summit, while the trail near the trailhead features beautiful fresh greenery and wooden boardwalks.

After the hike, we will stop by an onsen to relax ♨️
This is a full-day trip with a long travel time.

※If the hike is delayed and we return late, we may skip the onsen stop.

✅ Participation Requirements (Approval Required)

• This event is approval-based.
• Participants must have attended at least one hiking events organized by this club.
• Participants must have no history of no-shows.
• ⌛ Participants must be able to arrive on time at the meeting point.
• The maximum number of participants is 6 people.
• Participants will be selected by the organizer from the waiting list. Selection is not based on a first-come, first-served basis.

📋 How to Join

① Join the Waiting List

• Please join the waiting list first.

② Approval Message & Deposit Payment

• Approved participants will receive a message from the organizer.
• After approval, participants must attend a regular hiking event before the trip and pay 50% of the participation fee as a deposit.

③ Confirmation of Participation

• Once the deposit has been received, you will be added to the official participant list.

👉 The remaining balance must be paid on the day of the event.

💺 Carpool Seating Policy

• Seating arrangements for both the outbound and return trips will be decided by the organizer.

💳 Cancellation Policy

Event Cancellation by the Organizer

• If the event is canceled due to bad weather or at the organizer’s discretion, a full refund will be provided.
• Refunds will be issued when you attend a future regular hiking event.

Cancellation by Participants

• If you notify the organizer by 15 June, your deposit will be refunded in full.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after that date.
• Refunds will be issued when you attend a future regular hiking event.

No-Shows & Late Arrivals

• No refunds will be issued for no-shows without notice.
• No refunds will be issued if you fail to arrive at the meeting point on time.

⚠️ Equipment & Safety

• This is an approval-only intermediate-level hike
• Good fitness, hiking experience, and the ability to maintain a steady pace are required
• Participation may be declined at the organizer’s discretion
• Microspikes (chain spikes): REQUIRED
• Rental available from organizer: ¥200 (limited quantity)
• If you would like to rent microspikes, please inform the organizer in advance
• Participants without microspikes on the day will not be allowed to join
• Helmet: Recommended
• Rental available at the trailhead visitor center (approx. ¥2,000)
• There may be remaining snow depending on conditions
• The route may be adjusted or turned back for safety if necessary

🌧️ Weather Policy

• The event will be canceled in case of heavy rain or severe weather
• Light rain or cloudy conditions are common in June, and the event will proceed unless conditions are considered unsafe
• The organizer may cancel or modify the event depending on mountain conditions

標高3,067m、Mount Ontake（御嶽山）は日本で2番目に高い単独峰です。
6月の御嶽山山頂付近には、まだ残雪が残っている可能性があります。
登山口周辺には木道や新緑が広がり、初夏らしい景色を楽しめます。

下山後は温泉へ立ち寄る予定です ♨️
移動時間も長いため、終日イベントとなります。
