Spiritual Lessons From Living: What Are We Here to Learn, and Why?
WHEN IS IT?
7:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 18th. This is an online spiritual discussion.
WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?
We are now in a six week discussion series studying the book Spiritual Lessons From Living, Mahanta Transcripts, Book 18, by the ECK Master, Harold Klemp. Every class begins with a 1 minute singing of the sacred, spiritual word HU. After that the class will continue with reading two condensed stories and then discussing the questions that go with each story. Please contact me if you would like me to send you the stories. Below are 4 questions we'll discuss:
1. Sally had set a high spiritual purpose of “Mastership in this lifetime”. Now she’s chasing a receipt all over a parking lot. What was the spiritual lesson?
2. Harold says, “It’s more than focus. It’s a knowingness, a beingness. And there are going to be things coming up that say you failed. You're going to be absolutely sure you failed. The point then is to be ever more determined in what your dream was. Then you follow it out.” Do you have an example when pain, a challenge or a struggle, make you more determined to focus and move toward your Divine Purpose?
3- Have you had an experience where something seemed “annoying” or “inconvenient” and later proved to be a blessing or protection?
4- One could certainly look at Dembe’s experience as a miracle (or protection, or a coincidence, or serendipity). When something like this happens to you, how do you look at it?
