Jimbocho is a town where four "world's largest" attractions converge.

West of Surugadai Crossing lies the world's largest used bookstore district, north is the world's largest musical instrument store district, east stretches the world's largest sporting goods store district, and the entire town is the world's premier "Curry Town", home to the highest concentration of curry restaurants.

First, enjoy English conversation and international exchange at the café, and deepen your friendships in a relaxed atmosphere.

After that, we'll go to Jimbocho Town together. Everywhere you walk, individuality and history come alive, captivating visitors. Why not experience Japanese culture and enjoy international exchange through a stroll, immersing yourself in the charm of a place like Jimbocho?

Stroll through the retro streets, enjoy browsing antique bookstores and cafes, and sample gourmet treats from long-established eateries. Along the way, visit landmarks that showcase Jimbocho's history and culture. Through interaction with participants, you'll make discoveries. This event lets you leisurely rediscover the profound charm of Jimbocho.

You'll also visit specially recommended antique bookstores, taking time to soak in their unique atmosphere.

📍 Monument to “I Am a Cat.”
Beside the main gate of Kinka Elementary School (now Ochanomizu Elementary School), where literary giant Natsume Sōseki studied as a child, stands a monument engraved with the opening lines of his masterpiece, “I Am a Cat.”

📍 Jimbocho
This neighborhood is renowned worldwide for its concentration of used bookstores. Centered around Yasukuni-dori Avenue, numerous used bookshops and publishers gather here, creating an atmosphere steeped in literature and scholarship. The surrounding area is also home to universities, long-established coffee shops, and famous curry restaurants, making it a beloved destination where cultural and culinary charms blend.

📍 Jimbocho Yoshimoto Manzai Theater
A comedy theater. Featuring live performances of manzai and skits daily, primarily by up-and-coming comedians. Its intimate space with 126 seats offers the appeal of feeling the performers' energy up close.

📍 Sanseido Bookstore (3:20 PM)
One of Japan’s largest and most famous bookstores.
We will disband in front of the entrance, after which participants are free to explore on their own.

📚 Important Notice
- From 12:00 to 1:20 PM, you can participate in meetups at the café.
- Last call for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, a participation fee of ¥500 will be charged.
- Please arrive at the cafe by 1:00 PM at the latest.
- Joining midway after departure is not permitted.
- You cannot register for this event upon arrival at the cafe on the day.
- After departure, we will not return to the cafe; the event will conclude at the destination.
- If severe weather or other conditions make departure difficult, you may remain at the cafe and enjoy the social gathering until its conclusion.
- Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking.
- You may not bring bicycles to the event.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer. We will direct you to the nearest station.

* Upon arrival, please pay 500 JPY upfront. After completing the evening walk and returning to the café, please pay the difference for your selected drink
* Please note that if you leave without returning to the café, no refund will be issued
* One drink order is required (from 500 JPY)
* An additional drink is from 300 JPY
* You can also order alcohol
* Light meal is from 100 JPY
* A one-time “Member Passport” issuance fee of 100 JPY applies

神保町は、4つの『世界一』が集まる街です。

駿河台交差点の西には世界最大の古書店街、北には世界最大の楽器店街、東には世界最大のスポーツ用品店街が広がり、そして街全体には世界で一番カレーのお店が集まる『カレーの街』です。

どこを歩いても個性と歴史が息づき、訪れる人を魅了します。そんな神保町の魅力を感じながら、街歩きを通して日本の文化を体験し、国際交流を楽しみませんか。

まずはカフェで英会話や国際交流を楽しみながら、和やかな雰囲気の中で親睦を深めましょう。

その後、みんなで神保町へ向かいます。レトロな街並みを散策しながら、古書店巡りやカフェ巡り、老舗グルメの食べ歩きなどを楽しめます。途中、神保町の歴史や文化を感じられる名所にも立ち寄り、参加者同士の交流を通じて、新たな発見ができるのも魅力です。のんびりと街を歩きながら、神保町の奥深い魅力を再発見できるイベントです。

また、特におすすめの古書店には実際に立ち寄り、店内の雰囲気をじっくりと見学することができます。

文豪・夏目漱石が幼いころに学んだ錦華小学校（現在のお茶の水小学校）の正門横には、代表作『吾輩は猫である』の冒頭部分を刻んだ記念碑が建てられています。

古書店街として世界的に知られる街です。靖国通りを中心に多くの古書店や出版社が集まり、文学と学問の香りが漂います。また、周辺には大学や老舗喫茶店、カレーの名店も多く、文化と食の魅力が融合した街として親しまれています。

📍 神保町よしもと漫才劇場
若手芸人を中心に、漫才やコントなどのライブを毎日開催。客席数126席のアットホームな空間で、芸人の息づかいを間近に感じられる臨場感が魅力です。

📍 三省堂書店 (3:20 PM)
日本最大級の有名大型書店。
入口前で解散、自由行動。

- 午後12時10分から1時20分までは、カフェでの交流会にご参加いただけます。
- ドリンクのラストオーダーは、出発の30分前となります。
- ドリンクのご注文がない場合は、参加費として500円を頂戴いたします。
- 遅くとも午後1時までにお越しください。
- 出発後の途中参加はできません。
- 当日、カフェ到着後に本イベントへお申し込みいただくことはできません。
- 出発後はカフェには戻らず、現地解散となります。
- 荒天等により実施が難しい場合は、カフェにて各交流会を最後までお楽しみいただけます。
- 歩きやすい服装・靴でご参加ください。
- 自転車を携えてのご参加はできません。
- 途中で離脱される場合は、オーガナイザーにお知らせください。最寄りの駅をご案内します。
