Akihabara began as an electric town and has grown into one of Japan’s most iconic centers of subculture.

In this event, we will introduce the charm of Akihabara in an easy-to-understand way while also exploring its history and cultural background. Whether it’s your first visit or you’ve been here many times, you’ll be able to discover something new.

First, we’ll meet at a café and enjoy English conversation and an international Meetup in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere ☕
After building connections in a warm and welcoming setting, we’ll head out together to explore the streets of Akihabara.
During our walk, we’ll visit shops featuring the latest pop culture, such as anime, manga, and figures, as well as nostalgic retro games and toys. We’ll stop by not only well-known stores but also unique and hidden spots known to true fans.

By visiting the shops in person, seeing the products, and experiencing the atmosphere, you’ll truly feel the depth of Japanese subculture. This is more than just shopping — it’s an interactive walking tour where you can also learn about the character and evolution of the neighborhood itself.

First-time participants are very welcome, and solo guests can feel comfortable joining us.

This is not just a simple walk around Akihabara.
From the latest pop culture, such as anime, manga, and figures, to nostalgic retro games and toys, we will visit multiple shops that showcase Akihabara’s unique and diverse subculture — ranging from famous stores to more niche and specialized ones — allowing you to experience this world firsthand.

This area near the Electric Town Exit of Akihabara Station is lined with shops selling PC components, electronic parts, used appliances, and subculture goods. Unlike stores facing the main streets, it's known for its specialized parts shops and unique variety stores, making it a spot where you can truly experience the essence of Akihabara.

⚡ Note
- This is not a guided tour, so no guide will be provided.
- From 12:00 to 1:20 PM, you can participate in meetups at the café.
- Last call for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, a participation fee of ¥500 will be charged.
- Please arrive at the cafe by 1:00 PM at the latest.
- Joining midway after departure is not permitted.
- You cannot register for this event upon arrival at the cafe on the day.
- After departure, we will not return to the cafe; the event will conclude at the destination.
- If severe weather or other conditions make departure difficult, you may remain at the cafe and enjoy the social gathering until its conclusion.
- Canceled if fewer than three participants.
- Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking.
- You may not bring bicycles to the event.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer. We will direct you to the nearest station.

本イベントでは、そんな秋葉原の歴史や文化的背景にも触れながら、街の魅力を分かりやすくご紹介します。初めて訪れる方はもちろん、何度も足を運んでいる方にも新たな発見をお楽しみいただける内容です。

まずはカフェにて、英会話や国際交流を楽しみながら、参加者同士でリラックスして交流しましょう ☕

和やかな雰囲気の中で親睦を深めた後、みんなで秋葉原の街へ繰り出します。

街歩きでは、アニメや漫画、フィギュアなどの最新ポップカルチャーから、懐かしのレトロゲームやおもちゃまで、秋葉原ならではの多彩なサブカルチャーを扱うショップを巡ります。有名店はもちろん、知る人ぞ知る個性的でディープなお店も訪問予定です。

実際に店舗を訪れ、商品を見て、空気を感じながら、日本のサブカルチャーの奥深さを体感していただきます。ショッピングを楽しむだけでなく、街そのものの魅力や成り立ちも学べる、体験型の街歩きイベントです。

秋葉原駅の電気街口近くに広がるエリアで、パソコン部品や電子パーツ、中古家電、サブカル系ショップなどが立ち並ぶ通りです。大通りに面した店舗とは異なり、専門性の高いパーツショップや個性的な雑貨店が多く、まさに“秋葉原らしさ”を感じられるスポットとして知られています。

- 午後12時10分から1時20分までは、カフェでの交流会にご参加いただけます。
- ドリンクのラストオーダーは、出発の30分前となります。
- ドリンクのご注文がない場合は、参加費として500円を頂戴いたします。
- 遅くとも午後1時までにお越しください。
- 出発後の途中参加はできません。
- 当日、カフェ到着後に本イベントへお申し込みいただくことはできません。
- 出発後はカフェには戻らず、現地解散となります。
- 荒天等により実施が難しい場合は、カフェにて各交流会を最後までお楽しみいただけます。
- 当日の参加者が3名未満の場合は、中止とさせていただきます。
- 歩きやすい服装・靴でご参加ください。
- 自転車を携えてのご参加はできません。
- 途中で離脱される場合は、オーガナイザーにお知らせください。最寄りの駅をご案内します。
