Join us for a special night walk featuring the Sanno Festival, one of the three great Edo festivals, and Bon Odori, Japan's traditional summer dance festival. Enjoy the festive atmosphere, experience Japanese culture, and meet people from around the world as we explore Tokyo together!

First, we'll meet at the café!
Enjoy English conversation and an international meetup in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It's a welcoming environment where you can naturally connect with others, even if it's your first time joining or you're coming on your own. 😊

After leaving the café, we'll head toward the historic Hie Shrine, passing some of Tokyo's most iconic landmarks along the way, including the Imperial Palace Plaza, the National Diet Building, and the Prime Minister's Office. 🏯✨

The highlight of our walk is Hie Shrine, home of the Sanno Festival, one of the three great festivals of Edo. Surrounded by glowing lanterns and the vibrant festival atmosphere, you'll experience one of Tokyo's most celebrated traditional festivals. We'll also enjoy Bon Odori, Japan's traditional summer festival dance, and experience the spirit of a Japanese summer festival firsthand!

This is a truly special night where Tokyo’s beautiful city lights and Japanese culture come together.

📍 ENGLISH ONLY CAFE (4:50–6:15 PM)
Relax in a cozy café atmosphere while enjoying English conversation and international exchange. Before departure, participants will have a chance to introduce themselves, so even first-time attendees can quickly feel comfortable!

📍 Imperial Palace Plaza
A spacious open plaza located in front of the Imperial Palace and one of Tokyo’s most famous sightseeing spots. Visitors can enjoy views of the beautiful Nijubashi Bridge and the surrounding scenery.

📍 National Diet Building
A historic building where Japan’s national parliament meets. It is known as the center of Japanese politics.

📍 Prime Minister’s Office
The official office of the Prime Minister of Japan and one of the central buildings of the Japanese government.

📍 Hie Shrine (7:00 PM)
A historic shrine located in Akasaka, Tokyo, known as the guardian shrine of Edo Castle.
Its beautiful pathway lined with bright red torii gates and a surprisingly peaceful atmosphere in the middle of the city are major attractions. The shrine is also famous for blessings related to relationships and career success.

📍 Sanno Festival Evening Festival
This festival, held at Hie Shrine in Akasaka, Tokyo, is one of the Three Great Edo Festivals. Dating back to the Edo period, it is a popular event featuring colorful processions, portable shrines (mikoshi), and traditional costumes, offering visitors a chance to experience the vibrant spirit of Japanese festival culture in the heart of Tokyo.

In addition, visitors can enjoy Bon Odori, Japan’s traditional summer festival dance, making this a great opportunity to experience the lively spirit of a Japanese summer festival.

Due to the nature of this event, free time will begin once we arrive at the Bon Odori venue. Feel free to enjoy the Bon Odori dancing, food stalls, and other attractions at your own pace.
You are also welcome to leave whenever it is convenient for you.

- This meetup is not a guided tour.
- Last order for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, an additional 500 JPY will be charged on top of the participation fee.
- Joining the event after departure is not possible.
- Registration is not available after arriving at the café on the day of the event.
- This meetup will conclude at the destination.
- If there are fewer than three participants on the day or in case of severe weather, the event will be canceled. However, you are still welcome to visit the café and enjoy our various meetups.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer.

江戸三大祭のひとつ 「山王祭」 と、日本の夏の風物詩 「盆踊り」 を楽しむ特別なナイトウォークです。歴史ある祭りの雰囲気を味わいながら東京の街を歩き、伝統文化と国際交流を満喫しましょう！

まずはカフェに集合！
英会話や国際交流を楽しみながら、リラックスした雰囲気で自然に交流できます。初参加・お一人参加でもすぐに打ち解けられる、安心の空間です😊

その後カフェを出発し、皇居前広場や国会議事堂、首相官邸など、東京を代表するランドマークを巡りながら、歴史ある日枝神社へ向かいます。

ウォーキングのゴールは、江戸三大祭のひとつ「山王祭」が開催される日枝神社。提灯の灯りや祭りの熱気に包まれながら、東京屈指の伝統祭りの雰囲気を体感できます。さらに、会場では盆踊りも楽しみ、日本ならではの夏祭り文化を体験しましょう！

都会の美しい夜景と日本文化が交差する、まさに“東京らしさ”が詰まった特別な夜。

東京・赤坂の日枝神社で開催される、江戸三大祭のひとつです。江戸時代から続く歴史ある祭りで、華やかな行列や神輿、伝統衣装が街を彩り、東京の中心で日本ならではの活気あふれる祭り文化を体験できる人気イベントです。

さらに、会場では盆踊りも開催され、日本の夏ならではの伝統的な踊りやお祭りの賑わいを体験することができます。

イベントの性質上、盆踊り会場到着後は自由行動とさせていただきます。会場内では各自で盆踊りや屋台などをお楽しみください。なお、ご都合のよい時間に自由にお帰りいただいて構いません。
