Join us for a walk through Yanesen, an area where the nostalgic atmosphere of old Tokyo still remains, and enjoy a local festival at Nezu Shrine along with the unique charm of the neighborhood! 🍡🏮✨

At Nezu Shrine, we’ll enjoy food stalls and various activities while taking in the lively atmosphere of this traditional local festival! ⛩️🎶🍢🏮

☕ First, we’ll meet at the café!
Enjoy English conversation and international exchange in a relaxed atmosphere. First-time and solo participants are very welcome, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to naturally connect with others.

We’ll then head to Nezu Shrine to visit the Nezu & Sendagi Shitamachi Festival!

At Nezu Shrine and other nearby venues, you can enjoy food stalls, flea markets, music, and various other activities while experiencing the lively atmosphere of this local community festival. 🎶🍢

🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ After the festival, we’ll explore the streets of Nezu, Sendagi, and Yanaka.

We’ll stroll through historic streets and narrow alleys, discovering unique local shops and traditional stores along the way.

Around Yanaka, you’ll find old-fashioned streets and traditional shopping streets that feel like stepping into a Ghibli movie. 🌿🐈
Along the way, we’ll stop by interesting shops, enjoy delicious local street food, and take a relaxing walk through this nostalgic side of Tokyo! 🍡🍘🍵

A historic shrine in Bunkyo Ward. Its Edo-period main hall is designated an Important Cultural Property. Highlights include spring azaleas and the beautiful thousand torii gates leading into the shrine grounds.

An area brimming with old-town charm, dotted with traditional shops, cafes, and used bookstores. Enjoy a stroll in its relaxed atmosphere.

📍 Yanaka Ginza Shopping Street
We’ll explore Yanaka Ginza Shopping Street, a charming area that feels like stepping into a Ghibli world, with its nostalgic and cozy atmosphere. 🌿✨
Enjoy the traditional shops, narrow streets, and beautiful views from Yuyake Dandan, while experiencing the unique charm of old Tokyo. 🏮
Take your time exploring the neighborhood, enjoy some local street food, and maybe even spot a few cats along the way! 🐈🍡

🌙 Important Notes
- This event is not a guided tour.
- Last order for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, an additional 500 JPY will be charged on top of the participation fee.
- Joining the event after departure is not possible.
- Registration is not available after arriving at the café on the day of the event.
- This meetup will conclude at the destination.
- If there are fewer than three participants on the day or in case of severe weather, the event will be canceled. However, you are still welcome to visit the café and enjoy our various meetups.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer.

まずはカフェに集合！

その後、根津神社へ移動し、根津・千駄木下町まつりを訪れます！

根津神社をはじめ、さまざまな会場で模擬店やフリーマーケット、音楽などのイベントが開催され、地域ならではの賑やかな雰囲気を楽しめます。🎶🍢

その後は、根津・千駄木・谷中の路地を散策しながら、歴史ある街並みや個性豊かな商店、昔ながらのお店を巡ります。

谷中周辺には、まるでジブリ映画の世界に迷い込んだような、昔ながらの路地や商店街が残っています。🌿🐈
途中で気になるお店に立ち寄ったり、東京の下町グルメを食べ歩いたりしながら、どこか懐かしい雰囲気の街をのんびり歩いて楽しみましょう！🍡🍘🍵

食べ歩きをしたり、街を散策したり、猫を探したりしながら、みんなでのんびり楽しみましょう！🐈🍡
